Eric Clapton was in one of the most popular bands of the 60's, Cream. Eric redid "Layla" at MTV's Unplugged which was a beautiful acoustic version making it a HIT all over again. Clapton's nickname is "Slowhand" because he plays the guitar so hard he would break the strings and the crowd would clap slowly as Eric replaced them. Mr. Eric Clapton made a critically acclaimed appearance in the movie "Rush."
